We're pretty much mastered zippers here too.

Re: Backpack Excitement

That's great!!! My kids are always excited to wear their backpacks.

Re: Backpack Excitement

The girls also have great backpacks that travel with us everywhere. The pair fit perfectly between the carseats for easy reach during cartrips. The girls pack them full of toys and I add a few snacks. Presto - Mommy gets to talk to Daddy as well as the girls during the trip rather than having all of her mental energy concentrated on the backseat.

We were all looking forward to those being used for Kindergarten, but lo and behold, they HAVE to use tote bags! The reasoning is that zippers are too difficult for thier little fingers. WHAT!? We conquered zippers a few years ago. Oh well, who can't use another tote bag, right? :)

Re: Backpack Excitement

I just did the same thing with my 3.5 yo son. He loves it! He hasn't argued about wearing it, ever, even all day at the zoo, when it was 95 degrees, and 95% humidity.

Re: Backpack Excitement

I LOVE toddler backpacks and we have ones for our kids for similar reasons.

Re: Backpack Excitement

He's darling!
